FROGANG
FOUNDATION INC.

We are a movement and an organization that unapologetically promotes, empowers, and encourages natural hair and afros and the symbolic power they hold. FroganG operates as an affinity group (a group of people linked by a common interest or purpose).

We are a community that aims to unify black girls from all over the city and gather over one of the things we innately have in common regardless of our age, or what neighborhood we live in

SUCCESSFUL SISTER SESSIONS

"Successful Sister Sessions" is a Frogang Foundations Inc. capstone mentorship program and runs throughout the year. Our program year runs through the school year and wraps up  during the summer. Healthy meals are served at each session snack and dinner. During the school year sessions run weekly and during the summer there are weekly sessions as well as field trips to expose the young ladies to various educational, cultural, and social activities.

BLACK DOLL GIVEAWAY

Frogang Foundation’s Black Doll Giveaway focuses on building positive representation and self-esteem for black girls through gifting dolls who look like them. This initiative began as a community-wide Doll Drop Off Challenge during Christmas  2017 with 3 meet up locations around the city: Homewood, The Hill District, and Beltzhoover.

Not only do we collect, ship, and deliver black Barbies and brown dolls, but we give them away for free!

INSPIRING A PROUD GENERATION OF YOUNG GIRLS WITH NATURAL HAIR WORLD-WIDE

Here at FroGang we are focused on helping to teach young black girls to embrace their natural beauty.  FroGang is a strong believer that our natural hair is something to be celebrated and we are dedicated towards helping to instill those beliefs in our local youth through our Successful Sister Sessions and various other community initiatives.
